SMS Terms & Program Disclosures

This page describes how Symbio Energy Partners LLC d/b/a WattKarma ("WattKarma," "we," "us") uses text messaging (SMS/MMS) for transactional communications with consumers who have agreed to receive them. It is provided for transparency and for carrier / A2P 10DLC registration review. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service also apply.

Program description

WattKarma sends SMS only to consumers who have opted in through one of the documented methods below. Messages support electricity shopping and enrollment with licensed retail electric suppliers: for example, callback confirmations, appointment reminders, short status updates on an active inquiry (such as when a licensed agent is available), and secure links to complete enrollment online.

We do not use SMS to quote prices, discuss plan terms in detail, or negotiate offers. That information is provided by voice or on the secure enrollment web page—not over text.

Consumer-initiated (mobile origination)

Consumers may initiate contact by sending a text message to the number above from their own mobile phone. When you message us first, we treat that as a request to communicate with you about your electricity service inquiry in that message thread, and we log consent in our systems for compliance.

Website form consent

On WattKarma.com, where we collect a mobile number for this program, we use an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox. You must check the box to submit the form. The consent language is substantially as follows (minor formatting or punctuation may vary by page, but disclosures are equivalent):

A licensed WattKarma agent may read consent language equivalent to the website checkbox during a recorded sales or service call. We retain call metadata and consent evidence in line with our internal policies and applicable law.

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out & help

Opt out: Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to cancel future messages from this program. We honor opt-outs promptly.

Resubscribe: Where supported, reply START, UNSTOP, or YES to receive messages again after you have opted out.
